Tontos Por Andalucia - Monday Night 11pm...ish

Six months after the crew appeared in Loja for the day, the long awaited episode of Viajeros Por Andalucia : Loja - is being shown this Monday evening.

Having seen several of the previous episodes I have few hopes for this evenings production.


The poor subjects of this series - better named Tontos Por Andalucia - would I'm sure have tried to bring up meaningful and relevant points concerning their lives and their situations in Spain, and - some like us - would I'm sure have even tried to pass comment (fairly I would add) on some of the idiosyncrasies experienced by our diverse and disparate community. But as Pilar, and a number of her crew said to us: Don't think for one moment anything controversial or critical will come out in the program.

Having said all that, the day was a laugh. Pilar was not the tonta made out to be, and the crew were friendly and honest about their work: they knew they were making basura TV, they knew they were feeding yet more junk down the airways and into everyones Caja tonta - only unlike us - they were getting paid for it.

As I said....Tontos, sorry... Viajeros Por Andalucia. Monday 11.00 pm...ish
